Nice compact Dell Alienware laptap. It did a great job for eight years until it encountered some issues which rendered it unusable for a time. I recently dug it out and had the computer tech at the station I currently work for give it a going over.

He got it running again and replaced the hard drive. It does work but has a tendency to seize up after 20+ minutes of use.

Our tech indicated the computer should be useable with enough tweaks but I have another laptop and just want to pass this one on now. All of the illumination on the keyboard and badging is working. The computer powers up fine and loads the home screen within a few minutes. The power supply is an aftermarket replacement brand which does heat up a bit after a while when in use.

This computer would be a great project for someone who knows how to getting it working to optimal performance levels or would also be excellent for parts.
